The Walking Dead Receiving Blanket 2 Pack

Happy Halloween Everyone!

What better day to post my new Walking Dead receiving blanket two pack?
Walking Dead Receiving Blanket

This two pack comes with one Walking Dead print receiving blanket in red contrast stitching, with a matching black blanket in red contrast stitching.

All of my receiving blankets are 100% cotton flannel, and 40in by 40in – about 50% larger than the storebought versions.

I used to work night shift at a hospital, it was one of those nights when we had a particularly low census that I started reading The Walking Dead. If you’re unfamiliar with the comics or the tv show, it starts off with main character waking up in a hospital with no idea about the zombie apocalypse going on around him. Totally creepy to read that at night.

Perfect for swaddling, sun covers, burp rags, nursing covers, or for wrapping up toddlers.

Grown-up Classic Horror Blanket

Finished up this blanket last night. One side is a vibrant classic horror print cotton, and the other is black rosebud minky- my absolute favorite minky texture and what I use on the majority of my blankets.

One of the larger blankets we’ve made, it’s 6 feet long and 8.5 feet wide.

Perfect blanket in time for Halloween. There’s a chill in the air, classic horror movie marathons are all over tv, and there’s a bevy of excellent fall microbrews to enjoy.

Receiving Blanket ALLTHETHINGS!

October 23, 2014 in Uncategorized by Kerri Darling

While I wait for my next shipment of flannel, I decided to make some receiving blankets for my little monsters.

They’re too big to be swaddled, but they love cuddling up in these. The little one took a nap with the Monster High blanket as soon as I finished it.

What I really like about these is that they’re bigger than the ones available in the store (almost twice as big!), and they’re prints I really like.
